Summer
of 2000: God
provided a trailer for our ministry this summer through the generous
gift of a church in Cross Lanes, WV.
The trailer will enable us to schedule weekend meetings and take
our necessary equipment.

Summer
of 2000: Zane
and Pam Bachman, missionaries to Cameroon, Africa, were
one of the first missionaries that our ministry helped to send to
the field. They are now proud owners of their own genuine African
mud hut! Their Canadian born-son, Luke, turned 5 in May
2005.
Abigail was born in Africa in February 2003. The Bachmans
came back to the states for furlough in 2004. Pam delivered their
first American-born baby, Charity, during the summer of 2004.. In
September 2004 we completed a second DVD for them to use to
update the churches in America about their ministry in Cameroon. After spending almost 8 months in meetings across the
eastern/mid-western United States, they returned to the field. Click here to read
more about their ministry in Cameroon.

March 2003: Ken ministered in Romania for
two weeks in March 2003.. In this needy country nestled between Hungary,
Moldova, and Bulgaria, the Lord provided the
opportunity for him to teach at the
College in Sighetu and preach evangelistic meetings in the small
villages in the
area, seeing two precious souls saved and Romanian Christians edified. The
students at the college learned how to design and make their own puppets
with materials available in Romania. In all, the
Lord enabled Ken to pack in 48 hours of credit class time, teaching the
students Puppet Making and Manipulation, Leadership, and Storytelling.
He
also taught 12 hours of non-credit classes in Digital Audio Recording
and Editing as well as in Digital Music Composition.
It
was a blessed opportunity. Click here
to see some of pictures from Romania.

July 2003: Many
changes took place at our home church, Emmanuel Baptist
Temple, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Pastor Ed Hampton
resigned as senior pastor, taking on the named Pastor Emeritus position,
and Dr. Larry Aikens was installed as the new Senior
Pastor. Pastor Aikens asked Ken to lead the choir and
congregational
singing, and so Ken assumed the part-time position of Music
Director while working full-time for Simplex-Grinnell in Dulles,
Virginia as we waited for the Lord to direct us.

May 2004: The
Lord opened the door for Ken and I to return to the
of the most
incredible, transitional years of our life! Ken’s
mother died suddenly in February 2004 of an apparent massive heart
attack. Then Lydia's brother,
Robert, died of cirrhosis of the liver in
March 2004. We both spent the week in
Greenville
taking care of funeral and burial arrangements with Lydia's sister,
Sharon. Ken preached Robert’s funeral. The
experience contained some sobering moments as we talked with friends and
family that came to his viewing and funeral – many of them without
Christ. We do not know that we have ever felt so compelled
to witness, one on one, to people as we did at his graveside.
The reality of eternity was made so evident. The Lord used
these experiences, godly counsel, direction from God's Word, and a
sermon by Dr. John Reynolds to bring us to the decision to accept an
offer made to us to return to minister with the Academy of
Arts Christian Drama Teams.
